Prague Visitor Passis the only official Prague Card and the only one with full public transport + airport transfer built in. Best for classic 2–3 day sightseeing.
Prague CoolPasshas the widest attraction list (80+) and duration options up to 6 days on Tiqets. Best for museum-heavy trips and stays of 4+ days. No public transport.
Go City Pragueis the only Prague Card with a Big Bus Hop-on Hop-off (24 h), and its Essentials tier (pick 3) is the cheapest way in. Above it sit Explorer (pick 3–7) and All-Inclusive (1–5 days).

When no Prague Card is actually the smart choice
A card that stays in your pocket is money lost. If any of these describes your trip, buy individual tickets instead:
1-day visitor with 1–2 sights
A single-day DPP transport ticket costs 120 CZK (~€5) and individual attraction entries run €5–15. Buy them separately and skip the Prague Card.
You'll mostly walk the old town
Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock face, Malá Strana lanes, Vyšehrad walls: all free to walk through. No Prague Card pays off for that.
Beer + coffee tour
Prague's beer culture is the trip for many visitors, and no Prague Card covers it in a way that beats booking a specific brewery tour directly.
You're on a business trip
Weekday evenings only? Museums close between 17:00 and 18:00 and you'll be lucky to hit two. A Prague Card rarely breaks even.
