Nobody wants a €100+ card to sit unused. If any of these describes your trip, buy individual tickets instead:
A single-day DPP transport ticket costs 120 CZK (~€5) and individual attraction entries run €5–15. Buy them separately and skip the Prague Card.
Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock face, Malá Strana lanes, Vyšehrad walls — all free to walk through. No Prague Card pays off for that.
Prague's beer culture is the trip for many visitors — and no Prague Card covers it in a way that beats booking a specific brewery tour directly.
Weekday evenings only? Museums close between 17:00 and 18:00 and you'll be lucky to hit two. A Prague Card rarely breaks even.
The 8 sights most travelers put on their Prague list. Free-entry marks show which Prague Card gets you in without paying.
St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, Golden Lane, St. George's Basilica.
Tower with lift, stateroom tour, best view of the Old Town Square.
Panoramic climb at both ends of Charles Bridge — Old Town Bridge Tower + Lesser Town Bridge Tower.
Miniature Eiffel Tower + Mirror Maze — funicular ride included with public transport.
Spanish Synagogue, Maisel, Pinkas, Klausen, Old-New Synagogue + Old Jewish Cemetery.
One-hour scenic cruise through the historic center — Prague Venice.
Vintage tram loop connecting the main sights — one-time 24 h ride.
Art Nouveau interiors, guided tour of the ceremonial halls, Gothic city gate.
Answer these in order. The first "yes" is your answer.

We're a small independent team — not a reseller, not the Prague Card operator. We check the numbers on this page whenever any operator changes them and re-verify prices directly on the official sources. When you book through a link, we get a small commission — same price for you, no markup. That commission funds keeping the comparison honest, including calling out cases where no Prague Card is worth buying.
Answer three quick questions and we'll suggest the Prague Card that best matches your trip.
