The Big Bus Hop-on Hop-off is the unique-selling-point
Every Go City tier — Essentials, Explorer, All-Inclusive — includes the Big Bus Prague 24 h Hop-on Hop-off. Neither the Prague Visitor Pass nor the CoolPass does. It's 14 stops across the city, multi-language on-board audio, buses every 15–20 minutes. Regular ticket price ~€31 — that's more than half the Essentials Pass right there.

Which tier should I pick?
Rule of thumb: Essentials if you'll do exactly 3 things and you already know which. Explorer if you'll do 3–7 things over a longer window (30-day flex). All-Inclusive if you'll pack 4+ paying attractions into 1–2 dense days AND the Prague Castle full complex is on your list — because only All-Inclusive covers it. If you're unsure, All-Inclusive 2 days is the safest bet.
Is public transport included?
No — Go City is the only Prague Card without any public transport. The Big Bus HOHO (included on every tier) helps for the sightseeing loop, but it doesn't run in the evening or on the central pedestrian streets. If you'll ride metro/tram, budget a €5 DPP 24-h ticket per day. The Prague Visitor Pass includes full DPP if that matters to you.
Why is Madame Tussauds not on the All-Inclusive Pass?
It's counter-intuitive but confirmed: Madame Tussauds Prague and the Central Gallery (2 exhibitions) are on Explorer and Essentials only, not on All-Inclusive. Go City has never publicly explained the licensing reason. If Tussauds is on your list, either add it separately or pick Explorer.
When does the pass start?
The pass activates at your first QR scan at any attraction. Buying, downloading the app, or opening the pass in the app do not activate anything. Pre-activation, you have 12 months to use the pass. After activation: All-Inclusive runs consecutive days (1–5 depending on tier); Explorer and Essentials give you 30 days from first use.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund within 90 days of purchase as long as the pass has not been activated (no QR scan yet). This is Go City's "savings guarantee" — one of the strongest refund windows in the city-pass market. After the first scan, no refund. Reservations for guided tours or cruise slots are usually cancellable up to 24 h before via the in-app booking link.
Where do I actually buy? Direct or via a reseller?
For Go City we always send you to the official Go City site — the 90-day refund + 5 % newsletter discount + App QR only work there. Tiqets, GetYourGuide, Musement and others list Go City passes too, but with the reseller's cancellation rules (usually stricter).
